It is the Holiday Season and the other night I watched “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. It is one of my favorite animated Christmas movies.

This year, the lyrics to the song “Put One Foot In Front of The Other” just hit a little different.

You see, as I start my online business with my mentor, I can relate to these words.

It starts out by singing, “Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you will be walking across the floor”. Now let’s face it, we must start by doing one task at a time (putting one foot in front of the other), then the next task, and the next. This will help us to gain momentum in our business.

The next lyrics. “Put one foot in front of the other, and soon you will be walking out the door”. As more and more of our tasks are completed, we will be walking out the door to success.

Then, “You never get to where you are going, if you never get up on your feet”. This is true in any business. You must start somewhere, and I am getting up on my feet and following a path with the help of my mentor.

Finally, “If you want to change your direction. Don’t be the rule, be the exception. A good way to start is to stand.

YES. I agree. You MUST stand before you Walk, you then walk the steps (completed tasks), then you can Walk Out The Door to Success.

I am Standing, and I am Putting One Foot In Front Of the Other, and I AM Walking Out the Door!

You see I am confident that with my mentors help I will be successful.

Please come back often as I would love for you to follow my progress.

  1. Hi Sherri.
My favourite movie would be “Die Hard” with indestructible Bruce Willis 🙂
I love your passion! Despite the festive season, you think about your bigger vision, goals and ways to achieve success.
You are taking action, a small step at a time, but as you said, this will take you through the door of success.
I want to be on this journey with you, so bookmark your blog.
    Merry Christmas!
